“I’m bored”, “I’m tired”, and I want to sleep!” these are just some of the most common phrases you’ll hear from a typical student during their stay in college. “I’m bored” is often used when a semester just starts and some of the professors still hadn’t showed up. “I’m tired”, these are words to describe yourself when you are trying to fulfill your midterm requirements then suddenly something just messed up. “I want to sleep!!!” with three exclamation points, it’s your favorite line during finals and three or more of your most-hate subjects will have their examination on a very same date and in addition with these your professors on major subjects insist your class to pass your requirements in consecutive days-time, in short when you are deprive of adequate sleep for two or three weeks you’ll shout “I WANT TO SLEEP!” Scary, right? But still you should still be patient despite these rigorous things you’ll have to get through, because college is a make or break point of your life, but that doesn’t mean there’s o such thing to lighten your days up. Just think of these, you are surely in college when: (1) you can bring your cell phone to school (2) you’re not always required to take notes (3) your parents on’t have to go to school to chat with your teacher and get your report card (4) you don’t have flag ceremonies every morning (5) you know you’ll be saying goodbye to that subject called P.E in a year or two (6) you can have hours of free time between classes and in line with this (7) you can eat with your friends outside the campus with greatest foods to choose from, and that’s what we want!
So, in this section of our blog we’ll provide you a list of the top-most foods that you can have in every PUP campus here in Metro Manila with emphasis on our main campus PUP, Sta Mesa. Also we’ll give you hints on where to spend your free hours wherein you can have your meals for the day even its breakfast, merienda, lunch and dinner if you want and anything you can consider “patok sa panlasang iskolar” we’ll have it here.
‘Til Kwek Kwek Do Us Fart
I’m craving for that food. The one
which has quail egg inside and coated with orange colored stuff. Hmmm…
When you walk along the streets of
Theresa, Pureza or even in Anonas surely you’ll not miss a sight of this food.
You’ll also be delighted upon seeing this, freshly cooked from the pan. You
definitely knew what I’m talking about, didn’t you? Gee it’s KWEK KWEK!
I’m not really a big fanatic of
kwek kwek but you are definitely a PUPian if you have experienced tasting this
budget-friendly food. For only P2.50
each, you can even eat all you can and still pay cheap. Amazing isn’t it? What’s
even more interesting is the secret of this tasty kwek kwek. Usually it is best
partnered with vinegar hot sauce. Some vendors even offer sliced pipino as
condiments for the sauce. And of course the experience of tasting kwek kwek
wouldn’t be complete without drinks afterwards. Well, a cup of your favorite
soft drink will do, but I highly recommend you to have palamig with gulaman
plus a big burp afterwards haha! Just kidding =)))

HOME AWAY FROM HOME
After long hours of lecture or an examination, or upon receiving failed remarks, isn't it pampering to be home and just indulge yourself with your mom's favorite recipe for the family? But of course being a student requires you to always be around for other school works and activities, in short, you can't just a snap be home and have your comfort foods. But we, here on dose sa PUP have a place to suggest that you'll surely love, a certified home away from home.
The place has no definite name but we use to call it Aling Nena's for a reason we still don't know, it was manage by an old couple, Aling Rose and her husband. Since the place has no definite name, let me just describe it to you. Aling Nena's as we use to call it, is located along Anonas Street approximately 50 meters away from the College of Communication building. It's gate was painted red and from an outside look, it doesn't really seem a place to eat with the whole barkada. But believe it or not it can accommodate a whole class. A home with an enlarged dining area was I think best description of this place. What about the food? Well, you can just ask everyone in our section, they might have a better description other than a "true lutong bahay". Aside the best tasting foods that area was well ventilated and clean.
So the next time you'll get frustrated by tons of school works, you know where's the best place to drop by, didn't you?

FINAL but not LAST!
Writing for academic purposes has never been easy for me, it requires a lot of things, this and that, grammar's dos and don'ts. Honestly I'd rather read everything than write and you can just give me tons of books to read than a pad paper to write on. But writing for blog entries are ways different. I don't know if it's just because we're working on a certain theme that made writing easy for me. I can just be myself, write everything I want with just certain limitations. This I think was the reason of the problem that arise when we are working on our entries. We want to tell literally everything about PUP on our group's blog that at the end of the day, we ask ourselves, "Hey, what really are the necessary things we should write about?" We were just able to gave solution on this problem when we come up with five important subtopics. As you can see our blog was divided into 5 different pages.
I was assign to do write ups on the food available at the PUP and the places to have these foods. It's been easy for me because aside from eating was our group's favorite past time, there was no need for me to expend that much.
I can say that we, on our group we're lucky that we didn't have problems dealing with each other I'm always happy working with them they are my friends anyway.
I was a blogger even before though not constantly and I'll continue doing this whenever I have the time. This may be the final blog entry for the completion of our On Line Writing's requirement but not the last blog that I'll publish. See you next on lieamae.blogspot.com. :))
